ENGINEERING & DESIGN

Doug Canfield

Electro-Mechanical Engineer with 27 years background in the Electric Vehicle industry, and is President of EV Tech Inc. He has worked on multiple projects with GM, Ford and various military branches on the development of electric drive systems and fuel power.

Bob Smith (Rear Admiral, USN Ret.)

holds a Masters Degree in Math & Aerospace Engineering. He is a decorated Combat Fighter Pilot with 132 missions flown in Korea. He served as a test pilot and astronaut candidate in the Mercury Program, and as Project Director of the B-2 Bomber program. Bob is well known in the EV industry, having worked with GM, Ford, and the Electric Vehicle of America Association. Bob is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EV Tech Inc.

Stephen Gibbs, PhD EE

joined our team as Chief Technology Officer in April of 2008. Dr. Gibbs is a faculty member at The University of Texas at Arlington and specializes in Electric Vehicle systems engineering and systems integration.

Randall Nye Coburn, MS EE

is a former staff member at The University of Texas at Arlington and specializes in systems integration.

Clark McEntire, BS Industrial Technology

has worked in research and development for heavy-duty vehicle suspensions for 10 years and serves as the VP of Operations for EV Tech Inc.

Samuel Y. Liu

joined EV Tech Inc. in 2008 as the VP of Worldwide Supply Chain and brings over 10 years of sourcing and business development experience.
